Karthika presented early findings from her research on gig platform algorithmic management and worker experiences at the 3rd EIASM People Analytics and Algorithmic Management (PAAM) Workshop at the University of Twente. The workshop offered a space to test situating this work conceptually, particularly in relation to human resource management and organisational perspectives. Additionally, the visits to the university’s AI and social robot simulation labs further offered a tangible sense of how these debates are already unfolding in practice.
