Karthika presented her research at the Regulating Decent Work conference in Geneva, bringing together insights developed across earlier stages of the project, where she presented in Session 4.5: Beyond the Algorithm. Her work now shows how interacting forms of algorithmic control shape worker experiences across digital labour platforms, not as isolated technical tools but as interrelated systems with regulatory implications.
The conference offered a space to connect this work to broader policy debates. Alongside the presentation, her photo essay Intergenerational Stories of Decent Work (based on earlier ethnographic work) was exhibited, extending these reflections beyond academia.
